Features

Everything a landlord-tenant firm runs on

Cases, people, paper and money live in one workspace, so nothing falls between your calendar, your process server and your billing.

Case tracking

Nonpayment, holdover and other proceedings tracked from intake to judgment, with every party, premises and action date on one timeline.

Court forms & documents

Notices, petitions, affidavits and stipulations filled from case data, merged to PDF and stored against the matter.

Calendar & deadlines

Hearings, answer dates and service windows on a firm calendar, with reminders before anything slips.

Clients, landlords & tenants

Property managers, owners, buildings and tenants kept as reusable records — enter a building once, file from it forever.

Process servers & marshals

Assign service, log attempts and affidavits, and hand judgments to marshals without leaving the case.

Billing & invoices

Per-case fees, disbursements and invoices with online payment, plus a collected-vs-billed view for the firm.

Client self-portal

Let clients start the case. You finish it.

Property managers submit tenants, arrears and lease details through your firm's intake portal. It lands in casedesks as a draft case, ready for review.

  • Branded intake link per firm
  • Rent ledgers and documents uploaded by the client
  • Case status and invoices visible to the client, read-only
  • Works on any phone — no app to install

FAQ

Questions firms ask before they switch

Anything else? Send us a message and a real person will reply.

Which courts and proceedings does casedesks support?

New York City Housing Court in all five boroughs, for nonpayment, holdover and related summary proceedings. Court, part and judge records are maintained in the app and can be extended by your firm.

How does Pay as you go billing work?

There is no subscription. You add a card when you open your first case and are charged per case. Users, clients, documents and the client portal are included.

Can each firm's data be seen by other firms?

No. Every firm registers its own workspace; cases, clients, documents and users are isolated per firm and every user is invited by the firm's administrator.

Do my clients need an account?

Property managers and landlords use your firm's self-portal link to submit intakes, upload ledgers and see case status and invoices. They only see their own matters.

Can we move from Pay as you go to Enterprise later?

Yes. Your data stays where it is; Enterprise adds firm-level reporting, custom templates, onboarding and priority support under an annual agreement.
